Every wallet starts as a piece of genuine cowhide leather, cut and stitched by hand in Bulgaria. The Titanium Grade 5 hardware is machined to precision. The result is a wallet that doubles as a self-defence tool — discreet, durable, and unmistakably unique.

The Process — How Each Wallet Is Made

01 — Design & Cut

Every wallet starts as a sketch. The leather is hand-selected, marked, and cut to exact dimensions. No templates. No machine presses.

02 — Frame the Titanium

Grade 5 Titanium is shaped, fitted, and tested for grip. The knuckle structure is integrated into the wallet body — invisible until needed.

03 — Stitch & Bond

Kapron threads are hand-stitched under tension. Neodymium magnets are set in place. Carbon fiber panels are bonded by hand.

04 — Hand-Paint & Finish

The skull details are painted by hand — each one slightly different. No two wallets are identical. That’s not a flaw. That’s the point.

Titanium Grade 5

The same alloy used in aerospace and surgical implants. Lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and harder than steel. Your wallet’s backbone — and your last line of defence.

Grained Cowhide Leather

Full-grain leather that develops a patina over time. It doesn’t wear out — it wears in. Every scratch tells a story. Every crease is earned.

Carbon Fiber Panels

Added for rigidity and visual character. Carbon fiber keeps the wallet slim without sacrificing structure. Industrial material. Artisan finish.

My name is Nik Chernev. I build every MARGINAL wallet by hand, in Bulgaria.

I started making wallets because I couldn’t find what I was looking for — something that worked as a carry piece, felt like a luxury item, and could protect me if things went wrong.

So I built it myself.

Each wallet takes hours of work. I don’t use production lines. I don’t outsource. When you buy a MARGINAL wallet, you’re buying something I made specifically for you.
